Install the HD2 TV Player Software on the Panasonic Android TV AF1 Series. These displays are available in a range of sizes and are specifically designed for professional digital signage. Check the complete specifications on the Panasonic website.
Below, you find the instructions to easily set up the HD2 TV Player App on your display:
1) Turn your Panasonic Display on.
2) On the remote control, click “Input” and select “Open Port Platform”.
3) Click the menu icon on the right side of the screen.
4) Select “Installer”.
Note: Make sure prior to that to have your device connected to the internet (refer to this tutorial).
5) Click on “App Server”.
6) Select the HD2 TV Player Application. It is located on the 2nd page, so click "next".
7) Click arrow icon indicating Download on the left.
8) Confirm the download. You can check the download progress in the status bar on top.
9) When the download is completed, open the “Installer” once again.
10) Select /storage/emulated/legacy/Download/test.apk
11) Hit “Next” as many times as required, and eventually select “Install”.
12) Wait till the installation is completed. Once it is finished, connect the Player to your OnSign TV account as you would with any other hardware device device.
